Side Dormer Conversion

To create a large side Dormer loft conversion, creating one double bedroom and one bathroom. At the same time our sister company carried out a substantial ground floor kitchen extension.

The need for more space drove this build in Watford. The Side Dormer encompasses a large spacious double bedroom with a skylight and side window. The second single bedroom is deceptively spacious and includes spotlights and large window. Both rooms open up on to the en-suite bathroom.

The connecting en-suite bathroom includes a walk-in shower, a mounted sink unit and toilet. The use of crisp white paint, wood and beige tiles gives the bathroom a clean and simple feel.

A staircase also needed to be built, and to maximize light a skylight was added to the landing.
The ground floor extension comprises of a utility room, complete with toilet, and a light and airy open plan kitchen that includes a table and lounge area. To bring in natural light two skylights were installed and a floor to ceiling bi-folding door brings the outdoors in.
