Our member had the pleasure of being appointed to work on this interesting project. The flat was in a conservation area so there were certain restrictions and parameters we needed to work within.

Our client decided to use our full design and build service, which included drawing up full plans and submitting them for planning permission to the local council. Planning permission and approval takes eight weeks so within this time period, any party wall agreements that were required were put into place.

Our client decided to use their loft conversion to house a new bedroom with built in wardrobes. The skylight loft conversion design made full use of all angles of the roof, including installing velux windows on numerous sides of the roof. The end result was a light filled loft conversion; perfect for a bedroom to sleep under the stars in!

Once all the plastering was finished, the team set to work on finishing off all the final details including building a built in wardrobe and decorating the room with a light, neutral coloured paint, which was supplied by our client. This top floor flat in Watford has been transformed by this skylight loft conversion, adding much extra space and subsequently more value to our clients home.
